Role Overview:
As a Cleaner/Dishwasher, you ensure that Nando’s delivers an exceptional dining experience. Your responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and sanitizing dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and other kitchen equipment
- Maintaining organization and cleanliness of the dish room, dish machine, and storage areas
- Assisting with cleaning other areas of the restaurant, storing orders, basic food prep, and cooking chicken as requested
- Collaborating with the team to exceed guests’ expectations and provide the full Nando’s experience
Minimum Requirements & Expectations:
- Ability to take direction and work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to remain calm and work efficiently under pressure
- Commitment to quality service and basic food and beverage knowledge
- Understanding of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
- Basic English and professional communication skills
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift up to 15 lbs independently for extended periods
- Stand, walk, and climb stairs throughout your shift
- Able to walk/stand for 8–10 hours per day
- Hand-eye coordination, bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, and lifting overhead
