About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, including members of benefit plans, employers, healthcare providers, and hospitals. Your responsibilities include assisting customers with benefits and claims, educating them on available resources, resolving issues, and providing guidance to support their health and well-being.

The ideal candidate demonstrates empathy, adaptability, and excellent communication skills. You will research inquiries, document interactions accurately, and collaborate with internal teams to improve service delivery. This role allows you to make a meaningful impact in the healthcare industry while developing your professional skills in a supportive environment.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ months of customer service experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Must reside in the CST Time Zone
  • High-speed internet access and ability to work remotely
  • Willingness to work specific hours with flexibility

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of customer service experience in a contact center environment (calls, chats, or emails)
  • 1+ year of healthcare experience related to claims, providers, dental, or medical fields
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities:

  • Listen actively to customers, understand their needs, and advocate for their concerns
  • Resolve inquiries and issues efficiently while documenting all interactions accurately
  • Educate customers about benefits, claims, and resources to navigate healthcare options
  • Anticipate customer needs and provide proactive solutions to enhance satisfaction
  • Collaborate with team members and departments to improve service outcomes
  • Maintain confidentiality and securely document sensitive information
  • Follow company policies and the CVS/Aetna Code of Conduct to ensure compliance
  • Participate in ongoing training and coaching to stay updated on best practices
